Bon jour, Jacquie! Today is St. Valentine's Day -- the day of amour.
Do you like my heart decorations?
They are very nice, Evie, but I want to play with our dolls.
And I will break the eggs!
There! The dough is all mixed.
I want to lick the spoon!
Next we cut them out in heart shapes.
The first batch goes into the oven.
Jacquie, do you smell smoke?!
Where there is smoke, there is usually fire!
I am afraid the first batch is a total loss.
But the rest are beautiful!
We had better clean up the mess we made before Maman sees it.
Time for tea! Ummm ... Yummy!
It has been a very long day.
We will. But first let us mix up some sugar cookies for our tea.
